PT Elnusa Tbk is an oil and gas services company collaborating with a selected vendor to provide notebook and computer PC devices for employees with a rent scheme based on the deal of contract. The scheme of rent work’s equipment notebook and computer PC between Elnusa with Infoduta divided in the several stages, they are two times contract and two times addendum. This scheme of rent involves several departments and divisions in Elnusa. In the business process of procurement work equipment, there is a process to see the budget based on the cost centre from the user, the process of checking this budget is always not optimal and even ignored by the user to switch their budget from the cost centre that they have. Because of the non-optimal from process of checking budget of the cost centre in the procurement system for this work equipment, unpaid rent cost always appears in each period. There is cost of debt in each period is also caused by there is no standardization procurement process from the purchase requisition process and then continued to the purchase order process to the vendor. Based on wrong system for the procurement facility rent notebook and computer PC where cost of debt always arises every year in the contract period and in the addendum period, so in this research will be proposed to improve the procurement facility system for notebook and computer PC so that the cost of debt will not reappear. In this research, researcher to find the root cause of the problem will using current reality tree (CRT) analysis which found that there were wrong system of procurement facility rent notebook and computer PC. Researcher found that there are processes that should not be necessary in the business process and there is no standardization of the system in the current system. There are three alternative solutions that the researcher proposes for propose improvement based on the root cause of the problem, alternative solution 1 is collecting the all budget cost centre to the Department of Information System. Followed by solution 2 by standardizing the existing system in line with alternative solution 1. Then for alternative solution 3, namely a combination of alternative solution 1 and alternative solution 2. Based on interviews conducted by the author with the stakeholders involved, the results obtained using the analytical hierarchy process method (AHP) is the third alternative solution, which is the best alternative solution as a propose improvement to help the wrong system especially in the procurement facility of notebook and computer PC. The improvement plan will start in November 2021 until April 2022. After implementing the implementation of alternative solution 3, PT Elnusa Tbk. will reduce the procurement process time to 15 working days and 11 hours from the original duration with 25 working days and 5 hours based on a simulation with the iGrafx Origins application, and the financial process will be assisted by Rp 1,383,205,000. text |
