Muhammad Dhafien, Irham Indonesia Final Project coffee seedlings, growth, liquid smoke, variety INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/62290 Coffee (Coffea arabica L.) is one of the plantation crops that is cultivated by Gunung Geulis Coffee Farmer community. Many factors can affect the productivity of crop yields, one of which is seed’s quality from genetic and physiological physical quality. The physiological physical quality is related to the growth performance of the seeds, namely vigor and growth rate. Seedling’s growth can be stimulated by giving a substance that is able to accelerate its growth. This study aims to determine the response of the growth of coffee seedlings to the application of liquid smoke concentration with the application of drops and spray methods and the differences in seedling growth of three types of coffee varieties. The research was conducted in February – May 2021 at Gunung Geulis Coffee Farmer Community Nursery, Sumedang Regency. This study used a randomized block design with two treatments, namely the treatment of liquid smoke and the treatment of arabica coffee varieties (Rancakalong red shoots, Rancakalong green shoots, Garut yellow beans). The results showed that the treatment with liquid smoke concentration had a very significant effect on the height and diameter of the seedlings in the drip method and significantly on the diameter of the seedlings in the spray method. The best liquid smoke treatment was found at a dose of 5 mL of liquid smoke for the drip method and a concentration of 1% for the spray method. The best results were found in the drip method for the red shoot variety with a dose of 5mL of liquid smoke and the red shoot variety with the spray method with a concentration of 1% liquid smoke. text
