Formulation of lotion and gel containing lime fruit extract have been developed. The formulation of lotion were developed by using Citrol GMS A/S and combination of sodium lauryl suphate and cetostearyl alcohol as emulsifying agent in various concentrations. Gel were developed by using hydroxymethylpropylcellulose as gelling agent in various concentration. Evaluation of lotion and gel included organoleptic appearences, homogeniety, pH and viscosity, and type of emulsion. Physical stability of the lotion formulation was tested by freeze and thaw methode, and physical stability of gel formulation was tested with appearence of sineresis at room temperature and at 40 C RH 70%. The result showed that the lotion using Citrol GMS A/S 7%, combination of sodium lauryl sulfat and cetostearyl alcohol with concentration (1:5) as much as 3%, gave an o/w emulsion, good performances, homogenous, and pH and viscosity remained constant. The freeze and thaw test showed there was no phase separation after 6 cycles, but formulation using Citrol GMS A/S have distribution of globul size remain constant. The result showed that the lotion formulation using Citrol GMS A/S 7%, cetyl alcohol 1% and glycerin 10% had the best performance and physic stability. <br />
