The monitor function consists of processes for monitoring PSU (Proximity Switch Unit), BTMS (Brake Temperature Monitoring System), Brake Thermo-couple, WST (Wheel Speed Transducer), and ASV (Anti-Skid Valve); processes to monitor if the anti-skid system is fail, and send the system status to EICAS (Engine Indication and Crew Alerting System.<p algn="justify"><br />Monitor function is implemented by creating services which read the equipment status, check if a failure in system function occurs, and give an indication through the EICAS, or do the appropriate actions such is illuminate the Cockpit Lamp or isolate the Anti-Skid Valve. The services are continuously run until the 'anti-skid system is fail or switched off by the pilot. The software is implemented in DOS environment using C programming language.<p algn="justify"><br />The tests for the software consist of unitary test (structural and functional test), integration test for the software components, and qualification test by executing the software on a PC which is equipped with interface cards for digital and analog input/output. The results of the unitary test, integration test, and qualification test show that the software complies with the requirements specification.<p algn="justify"><br /> text |
