Description
Summary:The exclusivity the use of a medium in a work of art is one of the interesting issues to be seen in the context of creating personal works. Specifically, the issue of exclusivity in using conventional media is more often stereotyped with one's creative process within the boundaries of studio space and individual space, where efforts to expand using a media can sometimes only be implemented through initiatives to build collaboration spaces between mediums. The author is interested in using digital drawing media as a responsive effort to the tendency of expanding the work of drawing to express the idea of sublimation of personal experience as part of Generation Z facing contradictory situations in everyday life. The process of sublimation is realized through the visualization of digital comics that displays a combination of moving images in a certain time frame projected in a loop on three walls of the room. A form of personal expression about a contradictory experience that is disturbing to oneself which is then sublimated into a doodle about memory, images, text, and colors that come from the author's childhood experience. The realization of this final project is to offer an awareness effort to understand the aspects of inclusiveness that grows within the author, as well as to broaden the understanding of creativity in using drawing as a medium in art that has no limits.
