Description
Summary:Rock physics theory used to convert the reservoir data (porosity, saturation, mineralogy, temperature, pressure, etc.) into seismic data (P-wave velocity, S-wave velocity, density). And also by using this theory, seismic synthetic modeling has been done to see seismic data change (amplitude) becouse of pore fluid change and Lambda-Mu-Rho model to see physical parameter change (Lambda-Mu-Rho) that caused by the changes of reservoir data (saturation, porosity, mineralogy). Research was started by doing correction to the log data in order to match it with the form that will be needed in next step. From the research that has been done before, we choose equations that suit to the reality (field condition). After we choose the equations which able to convert the acoustic data into reservoir data, we did seismic synthetic modeling rock that saturated by gas, oil and brine. We also did cross-plot modeling between the changes of Lambda-Rho, Mu-Rho to the changes of reservoir data (porosity, mineralogy and saturation). Calculation by using combination methods approximation (Hashin- Shtrikmann, Dvorkin, dan Gassmann) shows better result for calculate P-wave velocity and S-wave velocity than effective medium approximation, whether using Voigt-Reuss or Hashin-Shtrikman approximation. The result we acquire from seismic synthetic modeling shows the present of AVO anomaly for each kind of fluid contain. The result from the cross plot between the changes of Lambda-Rho to the changes of reservoir data (porosity, mineralogy and saturation) is we know the gas lies between 4 GPa*gr/cc – 12 GPa*gr/cc. While the result from the cross plot between the changes of Mu-Rho to the changes of reservoir data (porosity, mineralogy and saturation) is we know the position of the reservoir lies between 20 GPa*gr/cc – 60 GPa*gr/cc. Both of this cross plot using cut-off porosity between 10% - 20%.
