Summary: | <b></i>Abstract:</b><i><p align=\"justify\"><br />Private college (PTS) in Indonesian is an organization having activity to provide services on high education to the Indonesian people that are not absorbed by state colleges (PTN). Its activity is associated with the regulation of Tridharma Perguruan Ttnggi, consisting of education, research, and giving service to soy.<br /><p align=\"justify\">As a pert of national education system under the authorization of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the objectives of PT\'S must be in line with those of national education, namely: Indonesian national education based on Pancasila to improve the quality of Indonesian students, human possessing faith and belief to A Supreme God, noble character, good Ply, high discipline, hard-wedding, tough and responsible, self-reliant, smart and keen, as well as physically and spiritually well.<br /><p align=\"justify\">To achieve such objectives above, the PIS needs to own a high quality of performance in running their educational activity. To put more clearly, there must be a directive standard on teething activities at PIS in order to produce qualified human resources as national education objectives mentioned above.<br /><p align=\"justify\">With corneal to the capacity of the P11+1 from year to year, the prospect of the PIS, as an alternative, seams to be mote promising. This business opportunity, however, would not realize without accompanying with a good quality in teaching activity. This is extremely important, as in the next globalization era the emerge of new PTSs under the management of foreign countries would be inevitable. A PTS will, therefore, attain a success if it is capable of improving its teaching activities.<br /><p align=\"justify\">This research is aimed at observing the possibility of the implementation of the ISO 9000 in PIS to yield an expected standard Specifically, the objectives of this research is to make assessment as well as to design quality documentation system based on the ISO 9000 model- A Translation for Education extended by award Sallis. The PTS selected, as observation object is Universities Pasundan Bandung.<br /><p align=\"justify\">The result of assessment using the demerits of the ISO 9000- A Translation fisr Education shows that the entire performance ofUnsvessitas Pasundan is of weak category. In other words, there are mans aspects not vet associated with the ISO 9000 requirements- A Translation forF,ducetion.<br /><p align=\"justify\">What to do in the following step is to design quality documentation system for the ISO 9000 - A Tmsslation for Education linked with academic activity in llniversitas Pasundan, for the system already operated and still has weaknesses, according to ISO 9000 requirements -A Translation for Education.<br /><p align=\"justify\">Based on the analysis and evaluation on academic activity, there are five elements to be designed, namely:<br /><p align=\"justify\">1.Management\'s Commitment on Quality (1\' element)<br /><p align=\"justify\">2.Document Control (4a\' dement)<br /><p align=\"justify\">3.Diagnostic Procedures & Methods of Identifying Underachievement & Failure (1l element)<br /><p align=\"justify\">4.Quality Records (15th element)<br /><p align=\"justify\">5.Validation and Internal Quality Audit (l66 element) The Design of documentation system consists of Level 1 (strategic document), Level II (recorded procedures), and Level Ell (job instruction arsd cx ins).<br /> |
