Description
Summary:PTBF is currently facing a challenging period due to the global Covid-19 outbreak and particularly in Indonesia. Efforts to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic through the national vaccination program in Indonesia, PTBF must be able to ensure that the supply chain process is carried out in accordance with the purpose of vaccination. Some of the challenges and issues that will be faced by the United Nations in the practice of distributing Covid-19 vaccines are the potential for national security, lack of coordination between lines, scarcity of vaccine supply, defective vaccines, as well as misinformation from vaccines by product or program that is very likely to occur during this period of distribution takes place. To overcome this several issues, the author analyzes the current situation and practices in PTBF supply chain using the Supply Chain Maturity Assessment Tool (SCMAT), which can analyze the entire supply chain process that occurs using 7 best practice areas starting from the area of strategy, control, process, material, resources, information and organization. The results of the SCMAT analysis are also supported by interviews conducted with several personnel who have capabilities in the PTBF supply chain. Based on an analysis using SCMAT, from each area of best practices there are supporting factors that cause problems in the supply chain carried out by PTBF so far, namely the lack of agility and flexibility of the PTBF supply chain to ensure the sustainability of the supply chain in the future. This research provides a focused solution where the changes strategy must be comprehensive and harmonious to make sure the supply chain sustainability of PTBF. In determining the solution for an improvement of PTBF supply chain, the author approaches the solution to formulate a strategy map for PTBF supply chain that focus on the aim concept of resilience supply chain, just-in-time, and industry 4.0. The next solution step is to formulate an improved supply chain model recommendation. The improvement concentrates on the area of digitization and end-to-end integration of all processes to support the formation of the Digital Twin of PTBF's supply chain which is related to the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology. The implementation of this research is to implement improvement strategy towards PTBF Supply Chain practices that expected to be in accordance with the roadmap that has been compiled. The following supply chain strategy map and improved modelling have aims to create the high level of agility and flexibility in the PTBF future supply chain practices. The next few years will be the goal to be able to implement this improved supply chain strategy at PTBF to be sustainable.
