Erosion and sedimentation was occurred by littoral sediment transport along shoreline in which sediment moves from one place to another place. Littoral sediment transport is occurred if waves form an angle to normal line of shoreline. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In Pengambengan port shoreline, the sediment littoral occurring is 82.322 m3/year, lead to the incline of the shoreline in the south and decline of the shoreline in the north of the port. The sediment moves from south to the north direction. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In the year of 2000 the problem of erosion have been taken care by constructing seawall about 650 meter in the north area, by Bali Beach Conservation Project, but the construction was crashed by wave energy. In the year 20020-2003, the building structure of the Pengambengan port had been modified. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> There was big groin surrounded the port. The effect of this groin cause increase of sedimentation in the south of the port and erosion in the north of the seawall in Cupel beach. Through this study have been analyzed the coastline changing model effected by erosion before and after existing port protection project with Genesis Program Package. The result of modeling obtain that conception of erosion forecast 10 years shown that the construction of port protection cause erosion on the north side will more intensively. To solve this problem, the concept of combine construction (breakwater, seawall and groin) is needed without creating negative impact for adjacent beaches. text |

In Pengambengan port shoreline, the sediment littoral occurring is 82.322 m3/year, lead to the incline of the shoreline in the south and decline of the shoreline in the north of the port. The sediment moves from south to the north direction. <br />
