Since the resolution is also influenced by the overburden layer, Hubral at al (1993) carried out their estimation which is based on travel time and Vrms calculation , derived from seismic data with inversion procedure This study is done by developing the model for examining the Hubral estimation in the synthetic data. The model consists of several bodies and kanals which is arranged to describe the variety of lateral dimensions. For this purpose, it will be shown the Fresnel unit which reconstruct numerically the ratio of 1" fresnel zone radius and lateral model dimension. By using graphically approach, this study shows the close relationship between diffraction with the lateral resolution text
