The need for clean water is highest in areas with a large population. West Java Province, as the main support for various activities in the State Capital, is also included in 3 (three) metropolitan areas, making the need for clean water in this province very high. However, at this time the service level of PDAMs in West Java Province which is measured using aspects of service coverage and domestic water consumption is still very low. In addition, there is an imbalance in service coverage in one district/city with other districts/cities in West Java Province. To be able to overcome the problem of the low service coverage and domestic water consumption of PDAMs, it is necessary to know the factors that affect the service coverage and domestic water consumption of PDAMs in West Java Province. The analytical method used is the multiple regression analysis methods to determine the factors that influence the service coverage and domestic water consumption and their relationship patterns. After the analysis was carried out, it was found that the factors that affect service coverage are PDAM clean water's price, GDP at constant prices, and real production volumes. Meanwhile, the factors that influence domestic water consumption are PDAM's clean water price, per capita income, profit earned by PDAM after-tax, and the number of poor people in the area. text |
