Sumatra archipelago is moving because of collision between Eurasia and Australia plate, with velocity 49 mm/year (Prawidirdjo, 2000). In Desember 26th, 2004, earthquake happened at off the west coast of northern Sumatra, its note as the biggest earthquake for the last 40 years in Asia (Wikipedia, 2004). An earthquake can happen again in the same area, the characteristic is named earthquake cycle. An earthquake cycle has some mechanism, such for interseismic, pre-seismic, co-seismic, and post-seismic phase. An eforts for monitoring of potential and mitigation earthquake hazard is by research about earthquake cycle. Post-seismic is one of the earthquake cycle mechanism that can cause earthquake in region nearby earthquake happened area, in the future. GPS continuous technology is used for monitoring postseismic phase.

Post-seismic research of Aceh earthquake is done by monitoring ACEH site, in Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh for 21 months (March 2005 - November 2006). Data processing of the ACEH site is using Precise Point

Positioning (PPP) method that is resulting horizontal displacement about 46.68 cm for 21 months to South West and vertical displacement (up) about 1.31 cm for 21 months. Post-seismic phase estimation is done by curve fitting from data processing result to post-seismic model (Marone, 1991). From data processing result for 10 months (March 2005 - November 2006) with PPP method generatespost-seismic phase estimation about 15 years.

text
