Fashion trends changes very quickly, namely in the type of ready-to-wear clothing. Fast fashion is one of the steps that can harm and damage the earth. People with an understanding of the dangers of fast-fashion are starting to make a movement to live environmentally friendly, namely through thrifting. Advances in technology have made today's culture of life based on social media. A thrift store should have social media that not only serves to promote their store, but also has its own advantages as a means of buying and selling online with an attractive social media display and can be one of the parties who educate buyers about the importance of living environmentally friendly. The design of the online thrift shop social media will be divided into three things, namely design (including logos, illustrations, typography, etc.), communication, covering education, advertising & public relations online thrift shop, and behavior, embracing the values and culture that are specifically owned by online thrift shop. The design will be in the form of Instagram and Website social media designs. Young adults aged 16-23 years are the targets of the final project design, because that age is an age that actively follows the development of the world of thrifting on social media. This online thrift shop social media design is expected to provide education on the importance of designing social media and creative as well as educational content for business activists who want to or currently running an online thrift shop business. text |
