One of the functions of the groundwater model is as a tool to analyze the response or action given. To take advantage of the groundwater flow model, many solutions and techniques used to solve the governing equations are available. One of them is the finite difference method. This method is increasingly being used along with the development of increasingly rapid computing. One proof of the development of computing is HPC. In this research, a finite difference numerical model with the Python programming language will be developed. The numerical model that has been created will be computed with the help of HPC. The numerical model will be used to review some simple cases and a case study in the field. Field case that will be used in this study is the DEO Sorong Airport runway. The runway suffered damage such as cracks, holes, and puddles. Damage caused is suspected to be due to the groundwater level being close to the runway surface layer. To deal with this problem, it is planned to install subsurface drainage on the side of the runway. Simulation results from the numerical model of the finite difference that the subsurface drainage solution can solve DEO Airport runway problem. text |
