Description
Summary:Abundant agriculture waste such as rice straw and rice bran can be utilized as growing substrate for white button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus), high values basidiomycota having ability to increase body immunity. Fermentation of substrate using consortium of fungi Aspergillus niger and bacteri Lactobacillus plantarum was implemented in order to decrease lignocelullose content. Fermentation of rice straw with 20% rice bran produce compost with 43,59±1,06% water soluble, 21,69±0,03% hemicelullose,11,75±0,41% cellulose, 8,205±0,19% lignin, and 13,21±1,65% ash. Compost of the mixture of rice straw and rice bran is then used as substrate for growing 5 and 10 seeds of pretreated button mushroom spawn with cold plasma for 5,15,and 30 second. Reactor plasma Dielectric Barrier Discharge with voltage 220V and power 90W were used. Mathematic model further constructed based on mycelium growth to obtain specific growth rate (?) and inhibition effect (k) using MATLAB®. Fruit bodies yield were estimated based on maximum diameter of mycelium mat using Python® with machine learning base. Based on this present research, using 5 seeds of button mushroom spawn that were exposed for 30 second in cold plasma environment showed the best mycelium growth with ? value of 0,462 h-1 and is estimated to produce fruit bodies in the order of 604,7 g kg-1 compost.
