Coal hauling is like the vein of the coal mining process that connects pit and port. PT ABC has problems in hauling coal from the pit mining area to the port facility so that the actual volume is below the planned capacity. This condition impact barging delay, mining sequence problem, and financial loss. The gap between actual hauling production and equipment capacity is caused by several factors, including equipment performance, low productivity, road conditions, dumping conditions, and loading points. The company must have an excellent improvement strategy, especially for the hauling management system. This final project aims to explore improvement plans for the coal hauling problems using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) methodology as a tool for the decision-making process. The implementation plan will focus on stakeholder analysis, risk and contingency plan, and project schedule estimates.
