This study was conducted to describe the demographic factors (age, gender, marital status, and class of service) of patients with emotional disorders who access health services. In addition, this study aims to analyze the relationship between demographic factors and service access (the number of outpatient visits, inpatient visits, and duration of hospitalization). A qualitative descriptive research design was used in this research by using BPJS sample data for the 2015-2016 period. The analysis was carried out using Jamovi software version 1.6.23. Based on gender, there was no difference between men and women in accessing health services (49.1% and 50.9%). Participants with the most access were participants in the age group 26-45 years (42.0%), Participants with marital status (49.4%), and Class III services (39.0%). There was no difference in demographic factors on the frequency of outpatient visits, inpatient visits, and duration of hospitalization. text
