Summary:Abstract: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Landslide as geological hazard often happens in Indonesia and takes many casualties, especially in southern area of West Java, therefore landslide is important to be worried and being handled with better concept and technique. One <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> of the method to analyze landslide hazard is Stability Index Mapping (SINMAP), with the inputs are Digital Elevation Model (DEM), points where the landslide ever <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> happened in study area (Landslide Inventory), rainfall, and soil type. Those data will be applied in this study to analyze susceptible landslide zone in kecamatan <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung. The Stability Index as result from SINMAP method will be overlayed with the existing land use map, so this method will produce a Land Stability Zone map of Kecamatan Pangalengan.
