Description
Summary:Creative space in Indonesia has started to develop after the reform era, currently, creative space as an alternative medium has been widely applied in urban cities. Creative spaces exist in various forms and the focus they develop, not only in the creative fields, but also in the fields of culture, technology, social, and business. The establishment of a creative space provides a place or shelter for creative people to share information with one another. In Indonesia itself, this creative spirit has spread to the 3T ( areas that still exist. Creative space in underdeveloped areas is certainly different from the creative space of urban cities. Even though there are minimal facilities and infrastructure, the creative spaces in underdeveloped areas are still full of local culture which is a separate uniqueness of the community in general. The tradition and culture value that still exist can be the unique factor that build the creative space character in that areas. This study aims to see the role of creative space as a means of supporting creative activities in 3T areas and to explain how creative space can affect existing activities, space, and social effect in the area to be studied, namely the Lakoat Kujawas community in South Central Timor, East Nusa Tenggara.
