To prevent the risk of contracting the COVID-19 disease in industry, the study explored the workplace, worker habits and industrial policies in dealing with this disease outbreak. The case study taken in this research is a company in Bandung, West Java, namely PT X. The data collection methods were conducted by literature study, interviews, FGD and questionnaires using references from the "Employee Risk Assessment in Response to COVID-19” and “African Union COVID-19 Occupational Safety and Health Guidelines Series: Workplace Sector Specific: Risk Assessment: Volume 1” by African Union Development Agency and ILO. The research data were analyzed using bivariate statistical tests with the help of the SPSS data processing computer program with the cross-tabulation method to find the value of the risk ratio / relative risk (RR). The severity of COVID-19 of PT. X based on the results of the study consisted of low and medium categories. A total of 80 workers at PT. X consists of 62 people (77.5%) with a low risk of COVID-19 severity and 18 people (22.5%) with a risk of COVID-19 severity. Hazards that can arise and become a factor in the transmission of COVID-19 at PT. X is caused by some factors: working environment conditions, personal workers, and applicable policies. text |
