Description
Summary:Indonesia has 127 active volcanoes with 69 active volcanoes monitored by PVMBG. Landslides/mudslides are common in volcanic cones because of the high, steep, and eruption of molten rock. In an effort to protect the lives of settler communities around volcanic areas, mitigation measures are needed, one of which is monitoring volcanic activity. Deploying UAVs to patrol and monitor critical areas in volcanic areas can substantially increase the success of early ground shift detection and have more time for rescue. The DJI Phantom 4 Pro type UAV is used to take imagery in volcanic areas with the Pix4Dcapture application for automatic flight missions. Moreover, images for analyzing the landslides were captured and by Agisoft Metashape Professional program processed into 3D maps with 0.054 meters/pixel, 0.0651 meters/pixel and 0.0651 accuracies for Tangkuban Parahu monitoring post, Guntur monitoring post and Guntur volcano areas respectively. Meanwhile, Ferto-15 Logistic Drone was used for payload (good) transportation. It transported various weights of objects: 0 kg, 1.16 kg, 5.51 kg and 10.34 kg where altitudes, speeds, battery consumptions were analyzed to determine the UAV’s ability to transport object while flying. These data were also displayed on the Node-Red dashboard.
