Description
Summary:ABSTRACT:

East Nusa Tenggara Province is a very dry place which has influenced by it geographical position. Low rainfall and relatively short duration of rain (average of around 3-4 months) with uncertainty case have influence in planting season, drinking water requirement for human and livestock, and requirement for agriculture crop (paddy or palawija) that become insuffiency. So that has happened insufficiency in drinking water for human and agriculture which caused harvesting failure.

To solve the problem, technical engineering with making water storage construction like embung and dam is the most precise solution, so the development planning of Raknamo dam is a step of realizing solution of the problem.

Water availability study covers rainfall analysis, water availability analysis by comparing two methods namely Mock Method and NRECA (National Rural Electrical Cooperation Agency), dependable flow analysis, and requirement analysis for irrigation and drinking water.
