Urinalysis is a medical examination using a urine sample that is examined in a lab in various ways. Through urine can be known infections in the urinary tract such as urinary infections, kidney stones, and muscle damage in the urinary tract. The method of catching urine is done manually by directing the urine towards the container. The thing that becomes difficult is that this process is carried out by the patient himself and sometimes problems arise such as errors that result in the outside of the tube being splashed with urine which can affect the hygiene of the urine sample. For this reason, this research aims to develop products or systems that can help the urinalysis process more precisely. This research uses library research method. The sources of data used are primary and secondary data from research journals and books discussing urinalysis, guidebooks or manual books on urinalysis procedures, and journals discussing urology. The data will be analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the analysis carried out, the results showed that the process of taking urine samples for medical check-up purposes was taken independently if the patient was still able. Some patients claim to have difficulty in taking urine samples independently. Especially elderly patient
