Realizing the importance of the existence of green open space, local governments are required to provide public green space amounting to 20% of the area of administration. That obligation applies to all districts / cities in Indonesia, including Bandung. In order to follow their obligation to provide public green open space, the Government of Bandung issued a number of public policy as an operational basis for the implementation public green open space in the city of Bandung. Ten years after the enactment of the policy, Bandung has only 6.42% public green open spaces. Whether due to weaknesses in the implementation process or sourced from policies that are inadequate to used as a guidance implementation for public green open space provision. To answer these questions, it is necessary to study the policies evaluation that can provide an overview of the policy quality of providing public green open space in Bandung based on assessment criteria for good public policy. This study uses a mixed method research through institutional approach (legalformal) and pragmatism approach. Methods of data collection was conducted using secondary data collection. In the process of evaluation analysis, this study relies on the apparent policy analysis methods using the criteria and indicators of good public policy as a barometer of quality evaluation policy. Criteria and indicators are formulated based on the theory of green open space, public policy theory and the theory of policy analysis. The results of formulation generates four criteria, 11 sub criteria and 24 assessment indicators. Four good public policy criteria, namely: (a) complete; (b) operations; (c) integrated; (d) accountable. The analysis process be done through four stages of measurement: (1) measurement of indicators; (2) measurement of sub-criteria; (3) measurement of criteria; (4) measurement of the policies quality. Measurements using a binary scale, weighting and interval. The results of the study concluded, first, public policy provision of green open space Bandung including at the level of good public policy because it can fulfill all the criteria, complete, operational, integration and accountable. Second, the policy of public green open space provision in Bandung is a complete policy means that the policy has been hierarchical, have a clear goals and objectives and has involved all stakeholders. Third, the policy of public green space provision in Bandung is the operational policy means the policy can be used as benchmark implementation of the development of public green open space because it has detail targets achievement and stated in measurable terms. Fourth, the policy of providing public green open space is an integrated policies, means harmony, organized, and no overlap between any policies, fair, impartial, and focus to the purpose of providing public facilities. Fifth, the policy of providing public green space in Bandung is accountable policy means the policy is evaluative, open, transparent and responsive to the changes, challenges and opportunities facing.iv Sixth, unmet target of achieving 20% RTH in Bandung caused by the weak performance of the green open space implementation in Bandung and not because an inadequate of the green open space providing policy. text
