Many programs have been done by government to overcome the smoking problem. In this thesis, we derive a deterministic model to describe the smoking problem. The present model is an extension of the work of Castillo Garsow, Jordan Salivia, Rodriguez Herrera (2000), who have studied the problem without considering gender type. Here, population in the system is

separated based on gender, male and female populations, in which each gender population is divided into three population groups, they are potential smoker, smoker (heavy smoker) and recover. Qualitative and quantitative analysis will be carried out. We also study some prevention strategies to control smoker population.
