There has been only one licensed vaccine meant to help prevent dengue-related diseases from spreading. The sole vaccine is CYD-TD V, licensed in many countries worldwide, although it can only be used to individuals who had been infected with dengue earlier, as the instruction of the vaccine states. The lack of vaccine that can be used by individuals regardless of their dengue infection history prompted the development of new generation vaccines and other dengue-related research. In this Final Project, an epitope-based vaccine design is developed with immunoinformatcs methods, in the reverse vaccinology protocols. text |

Cases of dengue fever, dengue hemorrhagic fever, and other diseases caused by dengue virus are still prevalent in Indonesia. There has been only one licensed vaccine meant to help prevent dengue-related diseases from spreading.
