Excessive heat exposure is a serious public health risk for outdoor workers who are often exposed to heat, one of which is street vendors. Heat stress management solutions are available, but their effectiveness depends on workers' awareness of the effects of heat stress, as well as prevention and control strategies. With this background, this study aims to determine the perception of street vendors in DKI Jakarta on thermal comfort and the risk of heat stress. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using statistical tests. The result of this research is that the majority of street vendors in DKI Jakarta have a moderate level of heat stress risk perception (65.7%). They also felt a slightly comfortable thermal sensation overall (40.2%). Although knowledge about the risk of heat stress among street vendors in DKI Jakarta is limited, most of them already have adaptation strategies to help them cope with heat exposure. Furthermore, it was also found that the factors that influence the risk perception of heat stress are a history of disease and alcohol consumption. text
