Description
Summary:Failure of the electrical system in the distribution of electric power which can interfere with human activities and can cause significant losses, therefore an electrical system that is reliable and stable even though there is a much needed disturbance. The stability of a system can be interpreted as the ability of the system to maintain balance during normal conditions and can restore the system when a disturbance occurs. Frequency stability is one of the stability aspect of the electric power system and when it is no longer stable it is necessary to take further steps to prevent power system paralysis. The under frequency load sheddin (UFLS) scheme that is generally used today is a conventional method, with the risk of occurrence of over-shedding and under-shedding phenomena. Then adaptive determination of the amount of load shed is necessary to avoid these two phenomena. This study proposes an adaptive load shedding method by considering the frequency value and the system sensitivity value. The proposed method proposed to have better effectiveness than conventional methods. In this research, the Bangka Electrical System will be used as the test object of the proposed method
