INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/63756 ABSTRACT In the last three decades, earthquake contribute the biggest global death toll whilst the technology supporting the disaster response to aid search and rescue process are still minimal. While information regarding rescue request, disaster relief tents, logistic, and facilities is hard to distribute in disaster response phases, leading to information overload. Voluntweeters and “Twitter please do your magic” had become triggers on how social media could aid in distributing information. Information dashboard that enables crowdsourcing and geographical information system (GIS) for public volunteer in Indonesia had been planned and tested to be able to (1) show location information aggregation and report details, (2) collect social media disaster reports, (3) allow public to access information, (4) allow user location access, (5) allow volunteer to create and update reports, (6) allow volunteer to login, and (7) identify shelters such as disaster relief tents. Usability testing through system interaction architecture had generated a System Usability Scale (SUS) of 67.5 (“C”) to be evaluated. Thus, improved in (1) adding direction line, (2) attaching legends, (3) improved copywriting to buttons, and (4) elaborating color triage concept to report symbol. Keywords—information dashboard, earthquake response, crowdsourcing, geographical information system, problem analysis, solution prioritization, ICE scoring, software design. text
