Along with rapid population growth, the demand for air automatically increases, both for the domestic sector and the non-domestic sector. One of the new areas that requires the fulfillment of drinking water is the residential and industrial area of APP Sinar Mas. APP Sinar Mas residential and industrial area is a new area to be built in Mulyasejati Village, Ciampel District, Karawang Regency. The area that includes industry includes residential, commercial, industrial, and other supporting facilities. In meeting the water needs in the Sinar Mas APP area, a drinking water treatment plant will be built which is divided into 2 stages, the IPAM planning period in this area is 20 years, with each stage being 10 years, this period will end in 2041. Based on the analysis of raw water quality obtained from the Citarum River Basin Center (BBWS), the parameters that do not meet the drinking water quality requirements according to the Minister of Health Regulation no. 492 year 2010 is turbidity, H2S, Coliform, Fecal Coliform, BOD, COD and DO. Based on the results of weighting using the analytic hierarchical process (AHP) method, the selected units were cascade aerator, hydraulic coagulation, hydraulic flocculation, rectangle sedimentation equipped with a settlement plate, fast sand filter with dual medium filtration, disinfection with ozone, and gravity thickener and belt filter press for sludge treatment. text
