Description
Summary:The cancer hospital project in Bekasi is one of the means to increase cancer treatment facilities in Indonesia considering that currently, there are only 4 cancer hospitals in Indonesia. This cancer hospital consists of 4 floors of an operational building and 1 basement floor, and is designed to have a capacity of 100 beds. This project was built with a floor area of approximately 8,000 m2 on a land area of 3 Ha. The plumbing system planned for this hospital building applies the concept of green building and rainwater harvesting. The primary source of clean water for this project is obtained from PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi, which will be collected in the ground water tank and then pumped to the roof tank for distribution to plumbing services. The primary water requirement for this building is 99.375 m3 per day. In this project, the distribution of greywater and blackwater will be separated, so that the greywater can be reused for flushing purposes as an effort to conserve water, while blackwater will be treated with a septic tank. In the application of the rainwater harvesting concept, rainwater will be collected and used as a water source for the building's fire suppression system in the form of hydrants and sprinklers.
