The quality and quantity of water in the watershed is directly influenced by the characteristics of the rainfall. However, several studies show changes in the characteristics of rainfall caused by climate change conditions. This has the potential to cause floods, droughts, infrastructure damage, and others. The study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of rainfall in the Upstream Citarum Watershed under conditions of climate change. Rainfall characteristics were analyzed using the IDF (Intensity Duration Frequency) curve. The climate change parameters for the IDF curve were met by utilizing data from climate models. The climate model data was extracted according to the coordinates of the Upstream Citarum Watershed rainfall station and then corrected for bias using the observation rainfall data reference. After that, the observed rainfall data from the Upstream Citarum watershed rainfall station and the rainfall data from the GFDL-ESM4 climate model were processed into an IDF curve. Compared to the IDF curve that is processed from rainfall data for the last three decades, the IDF curve that is processed from predictions of rainfall data for the next three decades tends to show an increase in the intensity value. The percentage change in data consistently increased from low duration values to higher durations across PUH. In addition, the value of the percentage change in data continued to decrease from PUH 2 with the lowest value of -0.521% to between PUH 5 and 10, then increased consistently from PUH 10 to PUH 100 with a maximum value of 16.408% at each of the same duration. The increase in the value of rainfall intensity illustrates the possibility of extreme rainfall in the watershed area and has the potential to cause flooding and damage to infrastructure. text
