Summary: | Bandung is one of regions that densly populated, either settled for a long time or for a
short time. Bandung has various active fault lines that passed through it and it has been
known 3 main faults are expected to cause earthquake. The Bandung Institute of
Technology campus located at Jalan Ganesha is in the center of Bandung. An effort is
needed in anticipating the impact of the earthquake. As the result, a system is needed
to anticipate the possibility of an earthquake, one of them through the evacuation path
system. An optimum evacuation route is needed in the evacuation process. In the
making of the evacuation route system, a nearest path can be an optimum route.
Calculating the nearest distance between a building or a room to the assembly point.
While a nearest distance value is being used, an essential things to determine an
evacuation route is also required. To make an evacuation route with help using
geospatial technology, graph theory can be used with Dijkstra algorithm as the
algorithm for calculate the nearest path. The final result of this Thesis is an evacuation
guide system in the form of a useful map to guide everyone when earthquake is
happened. In the evacuation guide system, there will be 5 point that being used as
assembly point for an earthquake disaster. Then, each evacuation route have different
color, differentiate by the assembly point’s destination, so an interpreter can easily
read the map |
