Summary: | PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) is an international study that
tests the literacy achievement of 15 year olds in reading, mathematics, and science.
The low achievement of Indonesian students in PISA mathematics can be influenced
by various things. One of the things that can be done to overcome this is to
familiarize students with practicing PISA model questions. In addition to getting
used to practicing PISA model questions in learning, the use of context is also
considered very important. So that in learning process, students can be motivated
in learning mathematics. Thus, it is important to integrate the context in the
environment where a learning takes place into learning, including in its assessment
activities. Based on this description, the purpose of this study is to develop a
mathematical problem using the PISA model using a valid Indonesian Nature and
Culture context.
In this project, the PISA model of mathematics problem module was developed
using the context of Indonesian Nature and Culture. The approach used in the
development of the module using the ADDIE model. Consists of 5 stages, namely
the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation
stage and the evaluation stage. This study resulted 49 PISA Mathematics questions
consisting of 7 themes with 7 different topics. The subject of the experiment was
carried out on students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalpinang. After all the questions
were analyzed for validity, it was concluded that in the small group trial which was
attended by 12 students, 77.55% of the questions are valid. Furthermore, at the
field test trial stage with 30 students, an increase of 8.16% or 85.71% of the
questions that have been developed was declared valid and feasible to use. The
reliability test was carried out after the item of questions were declared valid. In
the small group trial, 38 of the 49 questions that have been developed are reliable
or consistent. Meanwhile, in the second phase of the trial, there were 42 items of
PISA questions that had been developed to be reliable or consistent. So it can be
concluded that the development of the PISA model math problem module using the
context of Nature and Indonesian Culture is declared feasible and reliable to be
used as a module that can train students in improving mathematical literacy skills. |
