The National Science Competition (KSN) is a competition in the field of science for students in Indonesia, including for the Elementary School (SD) level, which is a strategic forum for developing reasoning power, problem-solving skills, creativity, and student sportsmanship. The competencies assessed in the KSN event in the field of mathematics at the elementary level are the ability to think systematically, critically, and creatively, as well as the ability to explore and solve problems. Some teachers who coach KSN at the elementary level have difficulty in mastering KSN materials and questions because they are generally classroom teachers. Enrichment books are an alternative to assist teachers in adding insight, knowledge, and skills to make learning more interesting. In this project, a material enrichment book and questions about numbers and arithmetic in a science competition in mathematics were developed. The development of this book uses the ADDIE model. This model consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. Aspects that are assessed in the validation stage of experts and potential users are content/material aspects, language aspects, presentation aspects, and graphic aspects. The validation results show that the developed book is good for use in all aspects. From the validation of potential users, the book developed is interesting from the aspect of presentation and graphics. It can be concluded that material books and questions about numbers and arithmetic in mathematics competitions for elementary school level are good to use. text
