Karimunjawa Islands is one of the major tourist destinations in Indonesia that is located in the middle of Java Sea. Therefore, to further develop this tourism places, it is needed to increase Karimunjawa’s accessibility, one of which is by redesigning its airport. Dewadaru Airport is redesigned to have a 1600 meters length runway and a 131 x 71 meters apron with rigid pavements that can accommodate four ATR 72-600s. Furthermore, its parking lot is 121 x 55 meters with flexible pavements that can hold 26 cars, 38 motorcycles, and 16 taxis. The passengers terminal are also due to be redesign with wooden structures while including all the facilities needed to achieve the level of service intended. Its 1,3 km-length access road is designed using flexible pavement. From all of the aforementioned designs, construction management, including constuction methods, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment (OHSAS), work quantification, scheduling, budget plan, and S-curve, are planned. The construction of Dewadaru Airport is scheduled to be completed in 393 work days with total costs amounted to Rp82.381.737.460.
