This opportunity was utilized by Waskita Beton Precast (WBP), one of the most significant construction fabrication as a subsidiary of Waskita Karya, to expand their business as a result, they got significant growth. However, the pandemic's effects and delays in executing the mitigation strategy caused a decline in business performance in the last three years. WBP made various efficiency strategies to survive in the industry, one of which was reducing employees. To support the company's transformation, Human Capital Management Division (DHCM) must provide the best service; therefore, it is expected that every employee in DHCM must have the capability and capacity in human capital management. Problems related the knowledge mapping in organizations will then be the focus of this research. This study aims to identify critical knowledge and identify knowledge gaps in DHCM and to be able to provide recommendations to reduce knowledge gaps that occur. This research uses a gap analysis framework and knowledge mapping. Qualitative methods are used through analysis of company internal documents and interviews. Several knowledge management theories are used in this research, such as knowledge management, knowledge mapping, and human capital management. This study shows the critical knowledge in every business process and has succeeded in identifying knowledge gaps within the organization. Furthermore, to reduce the knowledge gap and risk, the author recommends nine main programs based on the level of effectiveness capable of increasing organizational knowledge in DHCM. text |
