Description
Summary:Nodeflux is the first Artificial Intelligence startup in Indonesia. Nodeflux found organizational problems in various recurring and unresolved matters, so "Foundation for Sustainability" became Nodeflux's strategic direction to be achieved in 2021. To achieve this, initiatives in knowledge management (KM), as one of the foundations for organizational improvement, were implemented. However, these initiatives have not had a significant impact. There has never been a thorough evaluation to improve its quality. This research aims to design an appropriate KM initiative to improve its quality based on the evaluation results using the KM maturity model. The KM maturity model was developed by reviewing 21 KM maturity models, then six models that match the needs and conditions of Nodeflux were obtained and used as references, namely APO, APQC, IAEA, KMCA, G-KMMM, and Siemens. Four reviewed key areas (KPA) are People and Culture, Leadership and Strategy, Technology and Content, and KM Process. Each KPA has 5 to 8 indicators. The maturity assessment instrument uses a Likert-scale questionnaire. One open- ended question is included in the questionnaire to elaborate on the results of the closed-ended questions. The results were processed using mode calculation, content analysis, and ROC-SAW techniques. Based on the analysis results, standardization is needed within the process of developing employee competencies and reducing high dependence on certain individuals. Competency-based planning & controlling in employee learning, as well as several other approaches to improve the effectiveness of the learning (e.g. After Action Review and standardization & categorization of knowledge storage) are proposed to solve the recurring problems.
