This research method is a literature review that was taken retrospectively and then analyzed descriptively through parameters based on the type of interaction, types of herbs, herbs available in Indonesia or not, parts of herbs used, types of statins, types of test methods, and grouping the effects of herbs on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. drug. The results showed that 58 articles matched the criteria with a total of 31 herbs and 20 pure compounds studied. Of the 58 articles, 42 articles discussed pharmacokinetic interactions, 11 articles on pharmacodynamic interactions and 5 articles on pharmacokinetics + pharmacodynamics, 44 articles produced negatif effects, 7 articles provided beneficial effects, 4 did not interact and 3 were weak intercation. 51 herbs were given singly and 7 were given in combination form, 54 of the herbs studied were found in Indonesia with the test materials in the most form being isolates (25 articles).
