INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/64066 The development of technology, especially information and digital technology, greatly affects many areas of human life. One of which is in the education sector. E-learning is one example of the influence of technological developments in education sector. The emergence of a new learning concept, e-learning, has triggered new innovations in the exam administration sector called “online exam system”. However, in practice, there are several problems that arise, such as unsupervised exam, difficulty in distributing information due to communication limitations, plagiarism, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to have a software that can solve these problems and support the online exam system. Activity-centered design (ACD) approach and iterative life cycle method will be used in order to build this software interaction design. The initial step begins with the identification of activities and identification of problems with the current activity. Followed by a solution design analysis consisting of an analysis of the new design of activities, an analysis of the software functional requirements, and an analysis of the software features. The next step is the implementation of the interaction design and ends with testing and evaluating the results of the implementation. The final result of the Final Project is a high-fidelity prototype that provides components to support a series of online exam implementation activities. From the results of testing and evaluation of the implementation of the prototype, it was concluded that the results of the final project had achieved two aspects of usability goals (effective to use and easy to learn) and two aspects of user experience goals (helpful and motivating). text |
