Based on the geological map, the research area belongs to Jampang Formation, which was formed during the Oligo- Meiocene. The Jampang Formation is composed of andesite and dacite rocks, then intruded by andesite, dacite, diorite. The formation of mineralization is influenced by geological structures of faults and anticlines. Gold mining in this area is carried out using the traditional method where. To determine the characteristics of the deposits using analysis identification mineral and geochemical analysis. Spectral angle mapper (SAM), grain counting, petrography, mineragraphy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis used for mineral identification, geochemical analysis such X-Ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF), and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Upstream of the research area found pyrite and chalcopyrite. There are alteration zones formed, namely philic, argillic, and propylitic which can be interpreted that hydrothermal fluid having an intermediate pH. Mineralization in the study area found metallic minerals such as pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite, and gold appearing at elevations. The minerals Cu, Pb, Zn, As, Tl, Te, Sb, and Cd show a small concentration in surface, and with a decrease in elevation the concentration is higher. text |
