ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> PT. Siluet Nyoman Nuarta has been appointed by the local government to hold a responsibility of developing an island along with the surrounding small isles in Central Tapanuli Regency. PT. Siluet Nyoman Nuarta will create eco tourism product with unique concept as an added value. The Island will be transformed into a sculpture island to add the value to a common eco tourism product. The sculptures will be placed on the land and in the water. The sculptures placed under the water will be the new home for corals and a new and unique attraction for divers. PT. Siluet Nyoman Nuarta is challenged to develop business strategies for an island that only a few have heard or know of the existence of the island where there were no previous business strategies was created. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In the process of designing business strategies, the issues encountered are sorted into three main issues. The issues of lack of investors, bad entry access and social matters are the most prevalent ones. The issues can lead to dead end or in other words the project will not be able to be executed. PT. Siluet Nyoman Nuarta is challenged to come up with a strategy to bring investors and tourist in to increase the government local income with very limited resources along with the possibility of arising social matters issue. Once the project is finish, Indonesia specifically Central Tapanuli Regency will be able to increase the society welfare without exploiting the nature. The motto that PT. Siluet Nyoman Nuarta hold is explore not exploit. PT. Siluet Nyoman Nuarta has an objective to not only develop the island and the surrounding isles but also to educate the local residents with adequate knowledge for them to have a better living.
