Summary: | TPS Ambon is located on Jl. Ambon, Citarum, Bandung Wetan District, Bandung City. The service area of TPS Ambon is located in Bandung Wetan District, covering Tamansari, Citarum, and Cihapit Sub-District. The existing condition of waste management at TPS Ambon is equipped with a sorting process, transferring from collection vehicles to transport vehicles, and resale. The capacity process in the existing condition is 24 m3/day. From these conditions, new facilities will be added at TPS Ambon for organic and inorganic waste so that the processing runs optimally and reduce the residue transported to the Sarimukti Landfill. After selecting the TPS design, the designed capacity is 5,91 tons/day or 39,15 m3/day. The data collected is the basis for determining the technology to be applied using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method at TPS Ambon, with alternative 1 being chosen. Waste management begins with the receipt of waste in the loading and unloading area and then it is transported to the conveyor belt unit for manual sorting. Organic waste will be processed with a hollow brick composting system for 5 weeks and followed by a maturation process for 2 weeks. The ripe compost is then sieved mechanically to get a uniform size and then packaged and stored in the compost stock warehouse. Inorganic waste that has the potential as an RDF material includes PP, LDPE, textile, paper & cardboard, and rubber waste. The RDF material was chopped mechanically and then dried using a rotary dryer. After obtaining the characteristics that meet the requirements, then RDF in the form of fluff is packed in sacks and stored in the RDF stock warehouse. Recycled waste will be resold, B3 waste will be sent to TPSSS-B3 while residual waste will be transported to Sarimukti Landfill for further processing. The final products from TPS Ambon are RDF 0,87 tons/day, Compost 0,85 tons/day, and recycled waste 0,152 tons/day. The area required to build TPS Ambon is 393 m2. The total construction cost budget (CAPEX) needed to build the TPS Ambon is Rp. 1,439,000,000 or the construction cost is Rp. 3.660.425/m2. Meanwhile, the designed Operational cost budget (OPEX) is Rp 976.586.284/year or processing costs of Rp 353.879/ton. |
