This study meant to identify wave propagation impact of tsunami propagation in Aceh continent causing is obtained picture about direction, height and tsunami propagation time in Aceh continent required as input in compilation of development criterion in Aceh region. Tsunami wave arrival in Sumatra west coastal area region (Lhoknga and Banda Aceh) tends to coastline perpendicular whereas in east coastal area region (east coast NAD) tends to forming waving edge (edge wave). Most of ruination and building damage, housing remains, and infrastructure abuting on coast resulted from tsunami propagation with awful and big elevation and dissociation energy of diatomic. From various result of tsunami wave studies recommended to limit or avoids coastal area in Banda Aceh and Lhoknga from new development. Thing to anticipate calculation result predicting re-period tsunami wave for 25 years to the fore. If hardly perforced to be done new development in this coastal area hence building must be drawn up to be able to arrest detain tsunami wave by equiped facility to evacuate and shelter. On a long term coastal area better be struck from new development and strategy mitigasi with buffer in the form of exploiting of vegetation zone (mangrove and its conspecific) or other technology.
