The developments of construction in the world are strongly influenced by the development of technology in assisting the development process. The application of various construction software applications has shown a significant impact in helping the development process in the world, including in Indonesia. The ultimate goal in a construction process is that owner/manager of the infrastructure can optimize the functionality of infrastructure that has been built. In order to achieve this, an effective and efficient coordination is needed, specifically between contractors, consultants, and owners so that all important information from the building can be managed and used properly and therefore, optimize the infrastructure facilities management. One of the implementations of facility management can be achieved by applying a concept, namely Building Information Modeling 7D (BIM 7D). This research will focus on the potential of implementing BIM 7D for optimal facility management through a survey process to 3 groups of respondents, namely contractors, consultants, and building owners/facilities manager. The results obtained are that the application of BIM 7D for facility management in Indonesia is still low but has great potential and a positive response to be immediately implemented in the infrastructure development process in Indonesia.
