Description
Summary:Development of X field can be done by using completion for two-layer reservoir, which is commingle and multiple completion. The lower layer is a gas layer and the upper layer is an oil layer. The purpose of this study is to optimize development scenario of X field that is a variation of producing fluid from these reservoirs separately or together in order to obtain maximum recovery factor. Methodology used for this study is to model multilayer condition using Material Balance model to simulate reservoir performance. Then this model is combined with surface facilities software by vertical lift performance software. Scenarios generated for X field study are multiple completion scenario, commingle scenario, water injection scenario, and scenario using Electric Submersible Pump (ESP). Based on production forecasting, the best completion method for production well in X field is commingle. Injection water scenario is proved to be economically not feasible to be applicated in X field. Therefore, development scenario using ESP which will help fluid lifting process to surface is used. Using 50 psig wellhead pressure, this scenario will increase cumulative production up to 1.418 MMSTB oil, 10907.011 MMscf gas, and 7.031 MMSTB water.
