Description
Summary:Artificial lift methods are commonly used to support oil production that can not be produced naturally or to increase oil production. Artificial lift is a way to achieve the production of oil and gas plan for depleted well. Sucker Rod Pump is a method that is widely used as a method of artificial lift. In doing Sucker Rod Pump design, SN curves used in combination with IPR curve as nodal analysis. As time goes on, reservoir performance will decrease shown by declining reservoir pressure, bottomhole pressure, and followed by decreasing production rate. Therefore, in this thesis the author proposes a method to determine the reservoir pressure and bottomhole pressure based on the pump performance without any testing or measurement of fluid column height. Results of this study is expected to be the solution to make the determination of well performance and the dynamic design of sucker rod pump well more efficient.
