Summary:Social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instragram currently are the most massive communication tools for people. Not only as a medium of communication, social media is also used as a promotional tool and as an assessment tool for an honest and real-time product review (sentiment analysis). When opening social media then looking for keywords for the product or location that we search, it immediately get the review of the item or location that we are searching for. easy and quick is the reason people trust social media today. The review can be positive or negative, depending on the actual conditions that happened at that time, so it could be changed at other time. At the first, the review is negative but in the following year the review can change to be positive, this is because the location or product has been fixed by the surrounding community or local government (decision maker). so the place or product that is bad or not good enough turns to be good. Therefore, text mining is currently strongly needed to get the right, fast and much information. The sentiments analysis works by discovering, digging, and grouping polarity data from text present in documents, sentences, or feature / level of aspect and determining the state of opinion expressed in documents, sentences or features of entities / aspects are positive, negative or neutral (Hall, 2014), (Munarwan & Sinaga, 2017). This study used R studio to process text mining data that obtained from Twitter regarding the condition of tourism in Bandung through sentiment analysis. Sentiment analysis can determine the result of the review from social media. The results of this research are expected to help academics to increase their literature review and also to help decision makers or goverment to determine which one should be improved and which one remains in being maintenance in the tourism context in Bandung. Things that should be improve in Bandung tourism area are: plane, train, bus, Car Public transportation (Angkutan kota), Taxi, Motorcycle public transportation (Ojek), riding horse, visiting park, attend culture, TV, hostel and villa. Things that already good (only need to be maintain) are Travel, Damri (City Bus), Gojek, Grab, Cycling, Swimming, Camping, Hot Spring water, visiting farm, attend festival, History, Shopping, Visit Museum, visit Religion Place, and culinary, magazine, Facebook, Twitter, Radio, Instagram, Budget hotel & hotel
