The observation was set to CRD method, respectively with 25%, 50% and 75% shading, since the beginning of planting, blooming, and pod filling. The observation was olso set with 0% shading, which means 100% exposure to light and this was considered as control. The result showed that the more and the earlier the shading was done, the more it will decrease the parameter studied such as the stem diameter, the number of branches and leaves, chlorophyll density, number of filled pod, the weight and number of seed, seed indexes, and total dry weight of the plant itself. The decrease was compared to the control. Adversely, the height of the plant tend to be higher. Most addled pods will be obtained at the shading which was done at the level of pod filling, blooming and planting. At the 25%, 50% and 75% intensity level of shading since the beginning of pod filling and 25% since the beginning of planting and the blooming will tend to increase the size of the trifoliolate leaves, although this was statistically not significant compared to the control. At 50% and 75% level of shading given at the same step tend to reduce the trifoliolate leaves.</p> text |
