KUADRAN KELAYAKAN VERSUS KOMERSIALITAS POD UNTUK MEMPERCEPAT PROSES PERSETUJUAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE QUICK LOOK POD

Plan of Development (POD) is a document of KKKS to be submitted to BP Migas as a basic to develop their field. To make POD documents, geological, geophysical, and petroleum data are absolutely needed and that documents should have been proccessed together with BP Migas. This Quick Look POD method developed to accelerate POD study and approval. This method classify all existed POD documents and they will be divided into some POD categories based on reliability and quality of the data using Monte Carlo simulation. Each POD category (class) has a certain characteristic of the data reliability which can assist to make specific POD decision. Economical parameter has to be considered properly come up with POD decision. Hopefully in the future, Quick Look POD method is able to became a self assessment for KKKS prior to submit an official POD documens to BP Migas. This study gives technical and economical (commercial) assessessment which is shown by quadran of POD feasibility and commerciality as final product.This quadran has an x-axis which state feasibility of project based on technical and economical data analysis, and y-axis that state commerciality of project. The quadran 1 show uneconomics and unreliable POD, and quadran 2 show the uneconomics POD but technically reliable. Meanwhile, quadran 3 show economics and reliable POD and ready for implementation, and quadran 4 show economics POD but poor data analysis technically. Essentially, Quick Look POD method will give an advantages for KKKS to provide and study of the field data properly and strongly implemented. In this case, field “X” is classified into POD B based on project feasibility and POD I based on project commerciality, therefore field “X” is located at third quadran on Quick Look POD quadran.
